Chapter 11 - The Tipping PointThe emergency board meeting was convened in an atmosphere of impending execution. Arthur sat smiling broadly, surrounded by his personal legal team, while the other directors whispered anxiously among themselves.
When Julian walked in, he was not alone. Clara stood beside him, dressed in a sharp navy suit, carrying a slim leather folder.
"Julian, spare us the theatrics," Arthur began smugly. "The papers are demanding answers, the SEC has opened an inquiry into your wife’s foundation, and the stock dropped four points this morning. Sign your resignation, and we will handle the legal fallout quietly."
"Before anyone signs anything," Clara said, stepping toward the main projector terminal, "you should review the source of that inquiry."
She plugged the drive in. Instantly, high-definition audio recordings and digital time-stamped emails flickered onto the massive wall monitors. Ethan’s voice rang through the room, explicitly detailing Arthur’s instructions to forge Clara's signature, wire kickbacks to the inspectors, and sabotage the pediatric center.

Arthur jumped to his feet, his face turning an apoplectic purple. "This is stolen property! It’s inadmissible!"
"It’s already in the hands of the Federal Prosecutor, Uncle," Julian said, his voice dropping to a deadly chill. "Federal agents are waiting in the lobby. Your tenure at Vance International is over."
